🧵 Sip and Stitch – Cross Stitch Night @ Grrrowler’s
Join us for the kickoff of Makers Mondays with our first class on Monday, May 26 at 6 PM! Learn the basics of cross stitch in a fun, laid-back environment with expert crafter Stacey Lundgren. Class runs 60 minutes with an optional 2-hour hangout to keep stitching and sipping.

🧶 Want to bring your own project? Go for it! Just make sure it’s beginner-friendly—many kits say “Beginner Level” on the packaging and are available at local stores or online.

Instructor: Meet Stacey Lundgren
Crafting Queen • Dog Mom • Fiber Nerd

Stacey’s been making things since she could thread a needle—literally. Raised in New Orleans and now a longtime Carrollton local, she grew up sewing beads and sequins onto costumes with her grandmother and hasn’t stopped creating since. These days, she’s all about knitting, cross stitch, and spinning—and recently dipped into needlepoint and stained glass (don’t ask her how much those hobbies cost 😅).

She’s the proud dog mom of two giant white goofballs, Boudreaux and Odin, and if there’s ever a stray golden retriever nearby, chances are she’s already fostering it. A former apparel major at LSU, Stacey loves figuring out the puzzle of garments and keeping her hands (and brain) busy with yarn, fabric, and good conversation.

When she’s not crafting, you’ll find her at yoga, curled up with a book, or happily doing nothing at all. Join one of her Makers Mondays classes—you’ll learn something new, laugh a lot, and probably leave with dog hair on your pants. 🐾
